Our Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is a very fine example originally delivered in Japan, and based in Germany since 1993. Finished in Black Metallic with a matching soft top and an original Cashmere / Black interior, this 964 boasts an elegant and timeless configuration. Porsche documentation also confirms its original specification as well as its matching engine and gearbox numbers. One of the highlights of this car is the complete engine rebuild carried out in October 2022 by 911 Montmartre, at 64,574 km. This particularly significant work included the cylinder head and crankshaft seals, the oil pump, the timing chains, the piston rings, the crankshaft bearings and many other internal parts. More recently, in September 2026, the car underwent a major overhaul. The work notably included several running gear components, suspension ball joints and links, the rear arm tie rods, four brake hoses with a complete bleed of the system, an engine oil change, a four-wheel alignment, four tyres, an air-conditioning recharge, as well as extensive refurbishment of the interior and exterior trim and fittings. Mechanically, this 964 stands out for its excellent level of maintenance. One of the main aims of the 2022 engine rebuild was to resolve previously identified sealing issues; the engine is now perfectly healthy and dry. The bodywork presents beautifully and shows no sign of structural repair. It retains much of its original paint, with a few targeted cosmetic touch-ups carried out in 2026 to further improve its overall appearance. Inside, the upholstery has been redone and the carpets replaced, giving the car a particularly well-kept presentation. It is also fitted with a Porsche Classic Communication Management Plus multimedia system, adding everyday convenience while blending harmoniously into the cabin. As the first generation of 911 Carrera 4, the Porsche 964 marks a major step in the history of the 911 with the introduction of all-wheel drive on the Carrera. In this Cabriolet version, it combines the character of the air-cooled flat-six with the pleasure of open-top driving, while offering greater traction and versatility.
