Citroën Ami Super

En 1973, Citroën décide d'étoffer sa gamme en proposant l'Ami Super. 
Ce modèle dispose d'un moteur dérivé de celui de la GS d'une cylindrée de 1015 cc.
La voiture peut alors atteindre 140 km/h.

Au niveau de l'esthétique, la carrosserie de la Super est la même que la version classique. 
Elle dispose néanmoins de quelques détails qui permettent de la reconnaitre comme : six ouïes supplémentaires sous la calandre ou un petit monogramme estampillé "1015"... 
A l'intérieur, la Super se distingue par son levier de vitesse au plancher. 

La voiture ne se vend pas bien la première année, considérée par beaucoup comme trop proche de l'Ami 8. 
Citroën ajoute donc une bande décorative latérale dès 1974. 

Au final, l'Ami Super est produite à 44.820 exemplaires jusqu'en février 1976.
